Most of my poetry books are written remembering my beautiful wife
or Corina, my girl friend of fifteen yers. Marian was with me for forty-three years.
She was smarter than me and beautiful. We would take long rides on my shovel head Harley Davidson. She was tough and gentle at the same time. She loved to beat me in portable scrabble as it fit neatly in our brown leather bags. Her favorite place to visit was Pacific Grove and the Borg Hotel.
Marian died of brain cancer in 2008 as it devastated me. In 2010 I met Corina as she traveled the western United States on a full dress Harley Davidson. Corina would take thousands of pictures of our trips which I would write poetry about the locations. I have several Travel with the Wild man picture books.
My First poetry book is Odes to Life and Love as it was memories of Marian. I wrote Many poems in the beautiful town of Cambria, California which Marian and I visited often. Pacific grove and the Borg Hotel was our stomping grounds . We loved the park a crossed the street. Lover's Point was always a great place to relax on a bench. Walking and scrabble was our biggest joy. Time for us was far and in between as I worked week ends and she was off. Love is never lost as I think of Marian everyday and Corina takes very good care of me.
My latest adventure is Called the Commander. It is a life story of love, tragedy and love . We watch a young man grow into manhood, marriage, and life. We cannot grow unless we fail. Pick ourselves up and do it again. Pura Vida- life is good!
