Hi! I am Timothy M Nugent -Author, poet, short stories, and Novelist.

My wife passed away from Brain Cancer as I began to write in 2009.

Instead of drugs or alcohol I traveled the Western United States and Canada

to escape my loneliness. Marian's death hit me the night she passed as I looked at my half empty closet as I asked relatives to take any clothes they wish or take them to Good Will. I would give a way her silver jewelry to my relatives. Even surrounded by kindness I felt alone in a drift of loneliness.

How do I rid myself of depression and loneliness? I buy a new full dress Harley and begin my travels. I have published ten poetry books, one short story book and six Novels. My most recent is The Dreamer One. It is a story of a twelve year old boy who is golfing with Dad and is struck by lightning. It would change his young life to a career of adventure and discovery. The Man with a Limp is a LItfire publication. it is an exciting story about a young man who is recovering from war. His home is Santa Cruz California as he leaves the military hospital and hitch hikes home. He meets a man named Jack who owns a restaurant and becomes great friends. It is the story of Lucky as you follow his career, love life and successes. Imlive in San Luis, Tilaran, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. I love it here and built a fabulous life and home.
